Lenses and Photography Vocabulary

1) I would use a telephoto lens to take a picture of the lady liberty wen I'm really far from her.
2) I would use a prime lens to take picture of things that the environment  is darker or wen the place is dark.
3) I would use a wide-angle lens to take a picture off a hole landscape that beautiful.

DEPTH OF FIELD(shallow and wide)- the distance of the nearest and furthest objects that give an image judged on the focus in a camera


LIGHT(angle and intensity)-the natural agent that stimulates sight. the brighter the light the brighter the photo the darker the light the darker the photo

SHADOWS- a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and surface.

DIFFUSION- the action of spreading the light from a light source evenly so as to reduce glare and harsh shadows.

EXPOSURE- the state of being exposed to something or in contact with.

APERTURE(f-stop)- a space through which light passes in an optical or photographic instrument
( f stop ) - its the speed in which the lens opens letting the light through.

SHUTTER SPEED- the length of time that the camera is open and how much light goes through.

ISO- measures the sensitivity a film is to light. the lower the number the lower the sensitivity of the film.
